Terms of Service

These terms govern the engagement between Avina Home Detox (a practice of Avina Wellness LLC) and the family office or principal commissioning our services. By engaging Avina Home Detox, you agree to these terms.

Medical disclaimer

Avina Home Detox provides physician-led medical detoxification in the principal's residence. Not every principal is a candidate for in-residence detox. The Medical Director reviews each case before clinical work begins and reserves the right to decline any case where the safest setting is a hospital or residential facility.

Engagement letter

All services are governed by a written engagement letter signed by the authorised representative of the family office (or the principal, if self-referring) and the Medical Director. The engagement letter names the scope, duration, investment, and confidentiality boundaries for the case.

Confidentiality

All clinicians, vendors, and staff are bound by NDAs. Records are maintained under HIPAA/CMIA-compliant encryption. The principal owns their file. The family sees only what the principal authorises in writing.

Emergency protocol

In the event of a medical emergency, the protocol is to call emergency services (911) first and notify the physician of record second. Avina Home Detox nurses are trained to escalate within minutes of any change in condition.

Investment and payment

The engagement letter sets the investment for the case. We do not publish a list. We do not discount. Payment terms are specified in the engagement letter.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County.
